Honda has enjoyed a good reception to the H’ness CB350 so far. Despite being sold through the premium Big Wing dealer network, it has racked up robust sales. But now, the model has been recalled for the first time as Honda wants to ensure that nothing stops the purple patch the bike has gotten into.
The recall in question is being conducted to fix a defect in the transmission. While there have been no cases of failure reported so far, Honda believes there could be certain long-term issues with the counter shaft.
Honda has identified the bikes manufactured between November 25 and December 12 last year to be likely affected. Hence, it will commence its recall campaign from March 23 and get the part replaced free of cost. You can head over to the Honda Big Wing website, feed in your chassis number, and find out if your bike is affected.
Buoyed by the success of the H’ness, Honda also launched the CB350 RS, a sportier version of the standard CB350. We rode the new RS recently to find out if it is worth the extra Rs 10,000 over the regular model.
